What's in the intake program
Labs can come back normal. Normal means typical for a large group of people. Your results can be in that range and still be far from where you felt your best.
Feeling tired can have more than one cause. An underactive thyroid can make you tired. So can low iron. They feel the same, but each one needs its own check. This means a thyroid test can look fine while low iron explains how you feel.
So the intake program checks 80+ biomarkers, and a provider spends an hour matching them to how you feel.
A blood test that checks 80+ biomarkers
It includes a full thyroid test, not TSH alone. It also checks the levels of vitamin D, B12, iron and free testosterone.
An InBody body scan
It measures your muscle and fat. You get it at the same visit as your blood draw.
A one-hour visit with a provider
Your provider reviews your results before you sit down. Then you go over them together and make a plan. The average primary care exam is about 18 minutes. This visit is a full hour.
The blood draw and scan happen in person at our clinic in South Portland, Maine. If you live in Maine or New Hampshire, your provider visit can be by video.

You can enter if you are 18 or older, live in Maine, New Hampshire or Massachusetts, and have never been a Med Matrix patient. Med Matrix staff and their families can't enter. It is one entry per person for the whole giveaway.
How does the draw work?
Entries close Sunday, October 18 at 11:59 p.m. ET, or sooner if all 250 spots fill. On Monday, October 19 at 10 a.m. ET, we pick winners at random from all entries that follow the rules. We draw the grand prize first, then the 2nd-place winners.
What are my odds? How many people win?
One person wins the grand prize. Multiple people win 2nd place. Entries are capped at 250, and your odds depend on how many people enter. The Official Rules explain the draw in full.
What is 2nd place, and how do I use it?
2nd place is a $300 credit toward the intake program. Multiple people win it. If you win, we email you, and we text you if you agreed to texts. To claim it, book a free discovery call within 7 days after we contact you. To use it, book your intake lab visit within 5 days after that call. The credit takes $300 off the program, and you pay the rest. It has no cash value and can't be combined with other credits. You never have to use it.
Is there a catch? What does it cost?
Entering costs nothing. The grand prize is free. The 2nd-place credit takes $300 off the intake program, and you pay the rest. No medications, supplements, treatment or travel are part of any prize. If a provider suggests treatment after your visit, it's your choice and your cost. Med Matrix does not take insurance. Winners are responsible for any taxes on a prize.
Do I have to buy anything?
No. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win, and buying something will not improve your chances. You can book a free discovery call before the draw if you want to. It's optional and never changes your odds. If you pay for the intake program before the draw and then win the grand prize, we refund what you paid for it.
I live in Massachusetts. Can I enter?
Yes, if you are 18 or older and have never been a Med Matrix patient. Your blood draw and first provider visit are in person at our South Portland, Maine clinic. After that, visits can be by telehealth. Travel to South Portland is not included in the prize.
What happens with my answers?
Your answers go to Med Matrix. We use them to run the giveaway, and to contact you about care. We don't share your health answers with advertising platforms. If you win, we announce your name publicly. We never announce your answers or health information. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
